Durex Baby from Peter Ammentorp Lund on Vimeo.

A great little concept we came across recently which we felt we had to share with you, The Durex baby case was created by Art Director: Nicolai Villads, Peter Ammentorp and interactive designer: Raul Montenegro for the Future Lions 2010 competition (www.futurelions.com) organized by digital agency AKQA and Cannes Lions Advertising festival.

The footage was recorded with the Canon 5D MKII using a 24-105 mm. 4,0. and a 50 mm. 1,4. The baby was created by Raul Montenegro using Z-brush and cinema 4D. Post in After Effects and final edit in Final Cut Pro 2

We’ve MOVED!!! AGAIN!!!

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

That’s right guys, Digital Gurus have finally completed their 4th move in just under 2 years… Crazy I know, but needs must and all that. We’ve moved from Sunny Surbiton, to the hustle and bustle of Great Portland Street and Welbeck Street respectively and now finally over to the London Dungeon, sorry I mean London Bridge.

DG can be found at our new home over at
92 Tooley Street,
London Bridge,
SE1 2TH,

We also have a new mainline number - 020 7403 0131 - all our consultants are on mobiles though so you should still be able to get in touch with whoever you need.

We are a 2minutes down the road from the Station, a little bit further past the London Dungeons, we now have more than enough space for our elusive table tennis table (whoop whoop) and look forward to seeing you guys at DG towers very soon…

webby-awards1

Due to some of our outstanding talent being nominated for the Webby’s this year we felt it was only right to rave about it…

“Be a part of The 14th Annual Webby Awards and let your voice be heard as a participant in the Webby People’s Voice Voting.

The Webby People’s Voice Awards is one of the few major awards that invite the public to participate by allowing them to vote for their favorite nominees. The Webby People’s Voice honors excellence in categories including Websites, Interactive Advertising, Online Film & Video and Mobile. With their unique platform and streamlined voting system, users can easily take part in the ultimate battle for web supremacy.

Last year, nearly half a million votes were cast and commenters showed an unrivaled passion for their favorite nominees.”

Go on, have a look and vote for your favourite - http://webby.aol.com/

The quick-fire talks will be followed by VJ Lucifer Visuals and Glug’s very own DJ Adrian Dixon entertaining the crowds on the big screen and of course there will be a bar open throughout the evening.

As per usual Glug is being sponsored by Digital Gurus, this month we will have a special event for the night, so look out for that and be sure to say hello to everyone in the team.

Whether you are a loyal design follower, or just interested in seeing and hearing from some of the most exciting creatives around, this is the perfect excuse to come to our biggest Glug yet in this amazing space.
