Twittering around…

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

I was quite sceptical about twitter and the how well it could work… it sounded chaotic and time consuming… however upon using it, within 2 days we had managed to find a top freelance flash developer who got in touch and we placed him in a role that was perfect for him… not bad eh?

So DG are jumping on the twitter band wagon and are ready to challenge Ashton Kutcher.. although we have some way to go.. lol…

Bigger Space… Bigger Squad

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Just in case you didn’t know already… Digital Gurus recently moved to 45 Welbeck Street, we’re just a short walk from either Oxford Street or Bond Street Stations. We have nice bright white walls ready for decorating… (pieces of art work always welcome from budding artists/illustrators) :)

Having just taken on our latest recruit Amalie, we felt we needed a space that could match our ambitions as we continue to grow and thrive in the digital space.

Get in touch and say hello…

or someone you think is amazing!! As most of our business is built up through recommendations we are always keen to to thank people for their support. Here at DigitalGurus we offer a £250 voucher to a store of your choice, for any succesful permanent placement that comes from one of your recommendations… So you get the bonus of helping out a mate AND being able to make a valuable contribution to your iBook fund… Happy Days! :)

We also have open arms to talented freelancers… so if you know a really good freelancer who is looking for work, send them our way… if we manage to place them in a contract position and they work for us at least 4 weeks in total during a calender year then we are happy to give a £50 voucher to a store of your choice as a thank you…

Digitalgurus new bod!

Friday, April 17th, 2009

After nearly a year in the hot seat DG have their first employee! Amalie has been working with Digital Creative’s for over the past 5 years and she has come highly recommended. With a friendly face, unique sense of humour and her towering heels Amalie has really settled well in to the DG way of life and we see her being an integral part of the business.
