ANDROID Senior Developer - London, UK - Global Market Leader in Mobile Space - £45k

Building some of the hottest apps for some of the most recognised brands in the WORLD.... This client is a Top Global Digital Agency and a True Leader in the Mobile App Space.

They are looking for a Senior Android developer to join their growing mobile development team. The role is based onsite out of their central London offices. They are looking for experienced programmers with apps released on the market. Ideally you will be deeply interested in mobile technology, known within Android development communities and be active in discussion groups.

Skills

• Minimum 2 years of mobile application development experience from initial design through application launch with at least 1 year on Android platform.
• Must be proficient with the Android SDK, databases, web services, and J2ME.
• 2+ years of prior programming experience in Java/J2EE.
• Attention to details, creative thinking, and understanding of software development life cycle are must.

Key responsibilities
• To act as Senior Android developer
• Researching android mobile and desktop technologies
• Code reviews and code leadership of tech teams
• Explain technologies to internal and external clients
• Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
• Create costing documents for Android projects
• Appear at Tech conferences - both attending and presenting
