My client is one of the biggest global advertising agencies in the world and is looking for a creative who is mature, both in terms of experience and attitude, to be the Creative Group Head on their biggest account.
Their work is a mix of both website and integrated ‘local market’ projects. While they design and build much of the website work, the assets for the integrated local campaigns are produced by the markets themselves. This is something they are trying to change.
The account you will be heading is very much a digital account although a good understanding of, and background in direct marketing and CRM would be ideal. A grown up attitude and good presentation skills are important too, as the successful candidate will be client facing. You will also be expected to work closely with the planning and business leads on the account.
Essentially, my client is looking to find someone who can convert the briefs they receive into great work. That sounds obvious but the account, like all large organisations, has plenty of bureaucracy. In their view, the conversion rate from strategic deck to execution isn’t high enough. This will require patience and perseverance but also energy and inventiveness in equal measures.
There are some genuinely exciting creative opportunities on this account. The briefs are some of the best in their department. There is the chance to produce work for emerging markets that value fresh, fun and exciting ideas.
