Our client, a leading Global Media Agency based in Central London is looking for Performance Account Manager to join and exciting team on a well known travel brand
The Role
You will lead the media strategy across your clients; ensuring clients’ business targets are met as efficiently as possible.
Specifically the role encompasses:
• Managing the day-to-day client relationship
• Planning and implementing best-in-class campaigns, working across the full spectrum of media channels from digital to press, outdoor and TV
• Recommending and evaluating new media opportunities
• Working closely with internal departments and external agencies
• Resolving issues with senior media owners as required
• Managing your team to deliver outstanding media buying
• Working on new business projects
• Overseeing media delivery and managing audit data
• Leading client meetings
• Supporting the Associate Director and Business Director as required
Who are we looking for?
You are currently a Junior Account Manager or a Senior Planner/Buyer ready for the next challenge. Your experience so far will have given you the opportunity to forge excellent client relationships. You are a bright, intelligent thinker; always curious about the what if? and why? of media. You are passionate about your work and want to make a difference.
You will come from a background of managing clients who have strong digital ROI requirements. You will be able to think outside the box and be comfortable challenging the convention. You consider yourself a persuasive person with sharp presentation skills; both to convince clients and other parties of your recommendations on strategy.
If from a buying background, ideally you should have senior relationships with media owners and a track record of exemplary buying for your clients across multiple disciplines.
As well as your client focus, you should be keen to develop more junior members of the team to fulfill their ambitions, and you should be ready to partly judge your success on the development of your team.
Overall, as a senior member of the team you will be expected to contribute towards the future development and direction of the department and so this role presents a real opportunity for an individual who is ready for the next challenge.
