PHP / LAMP DEVELOPER – MARKET LEADER - £40K - SUFFOLK

My client is a true market leader (commutable easily from CAMBRIDGE/BURY ST EDMUNDS/IPSWICH/NOWRICH) and are looking for a new team member to come on board to develop and maintain their main line of business web based (LAMP Stack) application.

They operate in a fast moving and evolving market and so there will be pressures on the development team to deliver amazing results in unachievable timescales. If you are up for the challenge then providing you match up to the list below we would love to see you.

Key Skills
• Commercial experience and excellent knowledge of developing web based systems with MySQL, PHP, HTML.
• Exceptional knowledge of Linux and Windows (to version 7) desktop and server operating systems.
• Ability to write well structured object orientated and procedural PHP is required.
• Exceptional error handling and debugging skills.
• Understands the imperative of writing well written SECURE software.
• Experience or understanding of PCI-DSS would be beneficial
• Practical experience of developing to OWASP methodologies required.

Duties

• To report to the development manager,
• Understand business requirements and convert them to a software solution.
• Implement discrete and bespoke software modules and changes which integrate to the existing system.
• To live and breathe security, understand the implications of failure to comply with UK DPA & PCI-DSS.
