PPC Manager

Job purpose:
A role exists within my clients Global Search team to support a growing team, covering both Paid Search and SEO. As a Search Manager you will play a pivotal role in day to day ownership of client engagements.

Reporting structure:
The Search Manager role will report into the Search Business Director.

Principal accountabilities:

• Manage and eventually take ownership of client paid search and SEO engagements
• Provide creative and strategic insight to improve client project performance
• Become a specialist in your client’s vertical sector, e.g. finance, automotive, retail etc.
• Assist in training search executives in reporting, bid management, strategy and best practices
• Learn how to oversee and manage tasks of junior members of the team
• Pro actively support senior members of the team
• Attend client search meetings, provide outstanding levels of client service to all team clients in a pro active manner
• Ensure you hit deadlines and manage clients work flows and tasks for all search related work
• Integrate seamlessly with client account teams rather than search as an added service.

Key challenge:
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in either paid search or SEO, supporting junior team members by example. You should demonstrate your proactive nature and take the initiative to identify areas for improvement in day to day client projects.

Performance measures:
The Search Manager will be expected to successfully manage existing client engagements as well as demonstrate skills to take on additional responsibilities including mentoring junior team members and leading client relationships.

Key competencies:
The ideal candidate should understand what the client's business needs are by understanding, for example, the history of the brand and what the client wants it to stand for now and in the future.
You should be aware of your own capabilities, strengths and development areas and use this understanding to seek feedback and information to develop performance.

• 2-3 years search experience
• Strong project management skills

• Experience of Direct Response marketing desired
